This list of commonly-asked questions about deliverance has been compiled to give you more understanding about the process and help you decide if you feel led to this type ministry.

Q:  What exactly is deliverance ministry?

A:  In essence, deliverance ministry is a process whereby demonic attachments are
     identified and removed.

Q:  How does it differ from inner healing?

A:  Inner healing must accompany deliverance for effective results.  Demons attach to
wounds that result from trauma.  After the demons are cast out, healing must take
place to insure total freedom and to prevent reattachment.  This process is known
as “whole personality deliverance”.  To do deliverance without inner healing (or
the reverse) is to do a disservice to the person seeking ministry.

Q:  How much preparation is necessary before my actual deliverance session?

A:  Two books are required reading:
Pigs in the Parlor, by Frank Hammond
and our book Stand and Deliver, Tim and Beth Scott.
Both books are available through Amazon.com.

The next step will be about 12 one-hour sessions of pre-deliverance counseling to
obtain a thorough history and complete the necessary questionnaires, check lists, etc.
These sessions are scheduled Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays between the
hours of 10:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m.  The actual deliverance sessions are held on
Monday afternoons and average 3-4 hours.

Q:  How do I go about this process?

A:  You will need to come for weekly sessions until the preparation process is completed.
We can sometimes schedule two-hour sessions to speed up the process if you like.

Q:  I’ve heard of deliverance ministries that just rely on the Holy Spirit to reveal
the demons that are troubling the individual then they cast them out on the
spot.  They don’t go through all the preparation that you require.  Why don’t
you use that method and save me the time and expense?

A:  We have found that those who receive this type ministry rarely maintain their
freedom and victory.  Many seek out our ministry afterwards, realizing that they
need the instruction, insight, and discernment of a more thorough approach.  Keep in
mind that it is not unscriptural or unspiritual to be systematic.  Our God is a God of
precision and order.  Therefore, it is only fitting that deliverance ministry should be
progressively structured.  We refer to our deliverance method as “head to toe
deliverance” because it is a thorough process.  We utilize an extensive set of
questionnaires, prayers, and steps that have been revealed by the Holy Spirit.  The
process we use is thoroughly tested and effective.  We have learned not to rush the
process or cut corners (no matter how much the client—or our own compassion urges
      us to).

Q:  I think my child/teenager needs deliverance.  Can you help?

A:  In order for a child or teen to have effective deliverance, it is imperative that both
parents go through deliverance ministry first.  Children under the age of 18 are under
their parents’ spiritual covering and often experience a measure of spontaneous
freedom as their parents are delivered.  Residual problems can usually be dealt with
by the child’s parents.  To assist you in the process, we recommend Deliverance for
Children and Teens, by Bill Banks (available at amazon.com).  If freedom is still not
experienced in the child/teen at that point, we will minister to them.

Q:  What if I’m a single parent or my spouse (or ex-spouse) is unwilling to submit to
      deliverance ministry?

A:  In that case it is advisable that you obtain deliverance ministry for yourself then seek
to apply the techniques and guidance in the above-mentioned book on your child’s
behalf. Understand that only partial freedom will be experienced in your child if they
have any contact with their undelivered birth parent.  The same applies in situations
where grandparents have temporary custody or are raising their grandchildren (unless
      the child’s parents are deceased).

Q:  What is the cost?

A:  We charge $60.00 for each hour-long counseling session during your preparation for
deliverance (usually 10-12 sessions). There will be a $100.00 fee due the day
of your deliverance (since we devote the entire day to your ministry). You will have a
follow-up session 2 or 3 weeks  after your deliverance to check on your progress and
      provide feedback ($60.00 fee).
Q:  Why do you charge for deliverance ministry?

A:  We devote ourselves entirely to ministry and do not have other sources of income.
Matthew 10:10 says, “For the workman deserves his support (his living; his food)”
(Amplified Bible).  We believe it will be the best investment you will ever make for
your spiritual health and well-being.  As our clients tell us—it’s much cheaper than a
divorce, a psychiatrist, a job loss, or a surgery (all of which can have a demonic root)!

Q:  What about after my deliverance ministry?  Where do I go from here?

A: We will schedule a follow-up session 2 or 3 weeks after your deliverance to check on
you and give you written feedback on your session. In some cases, individuals need
some follow-up care after deliverance.  Those who have suffered intense emotional
trauma, abuse, dysfunction, etc. in their lives may need additional counseling to help
them develop healthy coping skills.  We are available to provide that service or to
recommend a qualified, anointed counselor from our referral list. We also recommend
you follow the guidance of the last chapter in our book, Stand and Deliver,  in order to
maintain your deliverance from now on.

Q:  Is it normal to feel apprehensive?

A:  Yes, but you will gain confidence and courage during the process.  The more you
understand your God-given authority over the power of the enemy, the more
hopeful and determined you’ll become.  Deliverance ministry is known as “the
children’s bread” (Luke 1:71-75).  It is a gift from God, secured by Jesus on the
Cross—just like salvation and healing.  This is one of the best spiritual choices
you will ever make!  We are both ordained ministers and masters level counselors
with over 30 years of ministry experience.  Throughout the hundreds of
deliverances we’ve done over the years, God  has continually improved our
effectiveness by giving us better strategies and more effective tools to help set the
captives free.  It is a joy and a privilege to operate in this anointing.

Call us when you’re ready to get started.  Freedom is within reach!  Whom the Son sets free is free indeed.

Note:  Sometimes we are able to accommodate clients from out of town/state during   December for a fast track/3-day preparation and deliverance. Our schedule rarely permits a fast track process any other time of year.
